Tapp manufactures tapered structures and are manufactured from high strength steel producing a light, economical, easily constructed pole with a dimensional reliability and minimal maintenance cost that can be offered in an unlimited range of sizes. In addition, steel allows the use of fewer and lighter pieces, along with simplified connections leading to a lower installed cost and improved appearance.

Tapp manufactures and ships individual pole sections weighing up to 40,000 pounds and 60 feet long without any circumferential welding. We design and fabricate poles fully customized to client requirements.

TAPP's standard line of steel transmission and distribution poles are intended to be used as an alternate or supplement to wood poles and custom designed steel poles. Standard steel poles reduce lead times involved in quotation, design, drawing approval and material ordering. TAPP offers ten classifications of steel transmission and distribution poles with groundline moment capacity ratings up to 681 Ft-Kips and lengths up to 110 feet. However, if the standard pole sizes do not meet client requirements, a structure can be custom designed to any specifications.
